This project will recruit a Local Energy Action Force Project Manager and three Project Officers who will deliver a programme of events to help raise awareness and develop skills in community energy development.
“The Local Energy Action Force will develop five projects in Pembrokeshire, working with volunteers, landowners, business owners and householders, co-ordinating and enabling access to support, skills, knowledge and experience and sharing what we learn.”
Natalie Lang, Project Officer for Arwain Sir Benfro said: “This innovative pilot will deliver an engagement programme with communities helping to develop projects generating, selling and buying sustainable energy.
“Local energy can help deliver a more resilient economy and has the potential to help alleviate social issues including fuel poverty and promote wider health and well-being benefits.”
