The LEADER team have been busy creating a new video case study highlighting the remarkable work that Span Arts have achieved as part of the #Digidol Arts Project.
Kathryn Lambert, Manager of Span Arts visited the recording studio in PLANED this week to talk about how about the ambitious digital arts project helped develop a new way of delivering cultural services to rural communities across the whole of Pembrokeshire. Kathryn told us “The project enabled us to pilot services that opened up culture across the whole of Pembrokeshire. If there was ever a time for digital technology to asist in bringing and keeping the community together; then it’s now.”
The projects were funded through the LEADER programme, part of the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014 – 2020, Funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government. The funding from LEADER has also helped Span Arts to lever match funds of £30,000 from The Arts Council of Wales towards the project.
The short video documentary will be available to view on our new Media page shortly.
